GCSS
Goal
GCSS is designed to generate a sprite sheet directly from HTML/CSS. The resulting sprite sheet can be used for StyleBoxTexture and icons in Godot’s Theme system.
How to Use
The main grid functions as a visual layout for your sprite sheet. Each cell contains editable HTML/CSS. When you click "Export as .png," the entire grid is rendered into an image. You also have the option to import/export your layout as JSON for saving or sharing your work.
Note: Changing the grid’s width and height affects only the exported .png size—it does not impact the in-app preview.
Development Roadmap
This app is currently in early access (as of 2025-05-08). Expect significant updates, which may introduce breaking changes to the .json format.
Platforms
GCSS is built using Tauri and SvelteKit, with cross-platform compatibility in mind. Support for macOS and Linux is coming soon
